Florida: What we did in it.
Before we gtfo depart from the sunshine state, lets recap what we did here:
- Rode our bikes from Tucson to Florida to help my friends manage their plants while they managed their spawn. (& my godspawn)
- We got here in May
- Farmed a little bit
- Rode down the state to watch my moms little uglies
- Rode up the state to watch my dads ugly birdies
- Hitchhiked to Virginia to watch Laurens moms little princess
- Went back to the farm and toiled in the swamp land.
- Planned out an epic, yet ill fated canoe trip
- Trained and farm-sat
- Worked for a new Katadyn Pocket water filter.
- Things got weird on the farm so we abruptly scadattled
- Took all our crap to my dads house and sat around on our computers for a month
…and somewhere in there Lauren got some bikes and a nasty poison ivy rash, I shaved my beard and posed naked for a little bit of money.
We’re 5 months older, broker, softer, and totally addicted to the internet. All we can do now is ride as far away from this awful state as possible and get real jobs :/ for the winter.
We’re just about packed up and ready to go. If you have any suggestions for what we should do with the site or where we should ride or what we should document I’m listening.
If I could do it all again…I wouldn’t,

The days wasted in this town are starting to take their toll. I looked in the mirror the other day and for a split second I thought I was someone else. The 7-11 on airport and 192 needs a replacement crazy Jane.
Hmmm, well, winter in Tucson is nice.
My feelings are hurt.
First and foremost just get back on the bikes already. We want to read about the ways and woes of all the unpredictable scenarios that take place in butt fried egypt when the shit gets rough. More road kill is always a plus and that only happens on the road so get back runnin the white lines. The white lines are the life lines…word to ya. It’s gonna get real cold soon so unless you guys like riding through snow I would say make your own southern tier route back west and stay on the southern line to Cali till spring just a workin short term gigs and riding. Come spring time run north to Alaska.
You also could say F-it and just head to Mexico and all points south. Winter sux! Go to Athens but don’t go much farther north, you will get cold and that will suck. Anyways, I do have hope for this blog. It’s been way cooler lately since you’re tantalizing all of our touring buds with talk of actually riding. Ride on you gnarly bicycling hobos! If you can see it you can be it. Life is but a dream. May our paths cross one day. Amen.
well i hate to see ya’ll go,sorry to hear/read that ya’ll dont have that much good to say about the state of florida,one of the things i have learned is that no matter where you go ,there you are !if you are good with yourself it really doesnt matter where you are,you will be happy with where you are at.because where ever you are ,thats where you are supposed to be,besides come january when you are freezing your asses off up north florida wont look so bad.have a safe and happy trip

no way dude ,i am not stuck anywhere,i am here because this is where i am supposed to be AND it is my home state.the cool thing is that i fit in my own skin and i am not looking for anything that is outside of my self ,happiness is an inside job.
You guys will have fun visiting everyone else in the country, but you will never ever come back to Arizona because it is a godless forsaken place where dreams come to die. Also it’s always like a billion and half degrees and Jared hates it.
