Interstate Camping
Jared and I have been able to find some beautiful camp spots off the I-10. Most of the time we try to get on BLM land. Here’s Jared opening the glorious gate for us to go forth:
Both of us like to be very sneaky with our camping. We don’t want to be spotted. Unfortunately my tent is conspicuous bright orange.
Eventually another more discreet tent will become our home, but thus far I have yet to find a decent one that is olive drab or camo colored. W(hy)TF don’t outdoor companies consider this factor when designing tents? We have camo tarps to cover our bikes that are laden with reflective patches. Ironically the bright colored clothing and reflectors that keep us visible and safe on the road are exactly what could expose our guerilla GORRILLA camping.
