Link Explosion

I didn’t do much today except kick back and scavenge around on the internet, so you guys can reap the benefits of my laziness.

WWII in recapped in a language I can understand.

Deforestation leads to an unexpected discovery.

Meant to post this image a while ago. Our friend Bill informed us that someone sent his photo in to the site SorryIMissedYourParty.com. He seemed maybe a little embarassed about it, but let’s face it…everything about this photo rulez! Bill is awesome! That’s him on the left.

No one fucks with my Attenborough…NO ONE!!!

This one made my day. It’s got everything going for it. Darth Vader, droids, sparklers, frontal wedgies, cheesy choreography, and shiny disco balls. It’s like the Mos Eisley Cantina got overtaken by Italians on mushrooms.

Sarah Palin crossing the border to get health care in Canada?… Well, that’s ironic….and apparently if health care reform passes, Rush Limbaugh will leave the U.S….and go to Costa Rica, a country with universal health care.

Der Humpink…in the vein of TROLOLOLOLOLO:

I knew we’d be living in holes one day.

This video could save you a whole lot of wasted time watching movies:

Oh man. Found this one on Drunk Cyclist. This hardcore guy makes me smile. He’s totally high on life. Plus, he is writing a book called “Meat is for Pussies,” so he’s pretty great in my opinion. It gives me hope that he is such a badass yet still isn’t doing full pull-ups. Back in the middle school days when I weighed under a buck and was a swimmer, I could knock out about 18 legitimate pull ups in a row. Also, I did flexed arm hang (where you suspend from the up position in a pull-up) for a minute and 42 seconds. Now, I can’t even do one pull-up from a full hang.

You know I love squids!

Also found on DC, a pot smuggling bicyclist…there’s something green and sticky in those tubes, and it ain’t Slime.

Every so often there is a link dump of such grandeur that I’m not inspired to farm it, but link it straight up. This is such a moment of innernette magnitude.

    Great one, L!

Here’s a link for ya: Google just added a bicycle option to their directions today. Pretty good news for those of us that still cycle;) Check it.

Damn, beat me to it, you guys are so in the loop it’s almost uncanny. I’d be interested to see what either of you think about this brand new toy. You know, basically it shows bike paths and trails per cities but how is it for touring? I did a St. Augustine to San Diego pseudo Southern Tier Route and it seemed to be pretty specified on cross-country routing. What are your thoughts oh touring ones? Is it worthy?
