Long Overdue

My ridiculously procrastinated and drawn out Crazy Guy On a Bike Journal is now complete for the tour from Florida to Chicago. It’s my most pathetic attempt at creating a compelling tale of our travels yet, so Check it.

I’m a little sad at the splitting up part after CHI. What’s keeping you in town after Jar leaves Lar?

hi andy. jared broke up with me and says that he needs his space.

i have to stay here for a while because i am too broke to go anywhere until i can earn some money. i plan to tour in the middle of the summer.

eventually i’ll post something about it but i really do not care about anything anymore.

I do not need to “start” that fund — consider it completed and ready for execution whenever needed.

You probably hear it from everybody, but you’ve had some unique experiences in your travels that you should reflect on, analyze and record in more depth while they’re still vivid in your mind. Producing a book might be more than you want to get into but nevertheless you should make a more sophisticated record than the “Crazy Guy On A Bike” entries. Why not start out with an article for a magazine that documents just one event or feeling from one of your trips? Geez, the twins down in Florida would be right out of William Faulkner or Calder Willingham Jr.

The Twinz! Geez- and you guys don’t even know the half of the twinz experience. There is more to that story!

Well, Tom. I think for now I am just going to stick with the Crazy Guy. Otherwise I fear that there wouldn’t be any documentation at all. Maybe at some point I’ll try to broaden my audience, but I’d rather wait until I get a much better camera.

The twins thing reminds of something Harry Crews might write about. In fact, he was a professor at Gainsville. Anyway, he specializes in weird redneck fiction. He has a collection of short stories and several books, my favorite of which is “The Gypsy’s Curse”. Check him out, maybe you’re a character in one of them.

i’ll have to check that out. yeah- there was definitely some strange homoerotic vibe about the twinz. shit was real strange.
